Creativity and craftsmanship are skills strongly encouraged at the Schülerinnenschule. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we set up a series of workshop stations where students could explore a variety of techniques. They soldered copper objects, built fairy houses, knitted scarves, bound books, crafted artistic Christmas decorations, and much more. The result was a wide range of handmade pieces – perfect as Christmas gifts, created without any pressure to consume!
