Guernica – Art and War

22. March 2025

For one week, our students engaged intensively with the topic of the Second World War. A central focus was the role of art in times of war – whether to capture its horrors with stark clarity, as Pablo Picasso did in his painting Guernica, or to give space to one’s own emotions: “What does war feel like to you? What images come to mind?” Supported by the artist Nina Maron, the students gave expression to their feelings through art.
